Tim Tolzda

Education Integration

Tim Tolzda has worked in the field of education for the past 34 years. He has served in several capacities, including teaching, coaching and school administration. Tim is currently working with the Newport-Mesa Unified School District in Newport Beach, California. He is the Assistant Principal at Estancia High School and prior to that he worked at Corona del Mar Middle/High School in the same capacity.

Tim obtained his MS in Education in 1990 from the University of Dayton, Ohio. Since then he obtained his Education Administrative Services credential from Franciscan University, Steubenville, Ohio in 2001.

During Mr. Tolzda’s tenure as a High School administrator he was charged with the duty of Safe Schools and Emergency Preparedness in which he excelled. He has written Safe School Plans, organized Active Shooter Drills on school campuses and has worked with the Costa Mesa Police Department and the Orange County Intelligence Assessment Center (OCIAC) in conducting School Threat Assessment for all NMUSD schools in the Costa Mesa Zone.

Mr. Tolzda has made it his life’s passion to help ensure the safety of the schools in which he is involved with.
